Deja Vu

I know what I see, I've seen it before, before I have seen

DEJA VU
The Sandman warns not to tease the foul breath of
grim crows.
They will drain the sands of Life that make up our
fragile souls.
Then ferry you to the place of scorched dust and brittle
bones.
Where the air is thin and a frigid Sun burns.
A land filled with ancient shattery dark urns.
But, I confront fate with such delight.
I teased the crows, then laughed at the sight.
My condemned body no longer feels its fright.
The Sandman owes me a debt after relinquishing sand
from my Life’s grain.
To ease his insufferable grief due to love lost, bound by
his duty, by way of pain.
I boldly ask for my two worlds to collide.
Allow me in my dreams, to hide.
Leaving the crows pacing outside.
Split my hourglass, living a double life.
One in a dream and the other in an afterlife.
The Sandman seeded dreams that harbor deep in
my mind.
Hidden from memory until I awake to the outside
timeline.
My reality is the memories now of dreams from long
ago sleep.
Delaying my judgment from where the dark usually
will creep.
The question now is.
Am I awake, or am I asleep?
